Energy Policy
Energy policy is the manner in which a given entity has decided to address issues of energy development, including energy production, distribution, and consumption (wikipedia). Related with energy policy, we provided service to accompany government or stakeholders to develop, evaluate, and conduct research about energy policy.
Energy Planning
Energy planning is the process of developing long-range policies to help guide the future of a local, national, regional, or even the global energy system (wikipedia). In CARE, energy planning is associated with energy resources and spent resources. Our researches in energy resources consist of biodiesel (development of production process, methods, and quality improvement of vegetable oil; biogas (development of fermentation technology in biogas, optimization of biomass as raw material, and purification technology of biogas); bioethanol (development of ethanol fermentation technology); biobutanol (development of butanol fermentation technology); coal to liquid; plastic to liquid; biomass to liquid; coal bed methane; and liquid hydrogen. Our researches in spent resources consist of cogeneration; turbo expander; organic rankine cycle; combine cycle; and waste heat recovery. We also provide training for people who need to improve their capability using several energy planning tools.
Energy Technology Assessment
In energy technology assessment, our works generally consist of development and assessment of technology related with energy resources. Our researches related with energy technology assessment are:
1. Solar thermal;
  1. Development of solar dryer technology with range of kind and capacity;
  2. Development of clean water maker with solar energy;
  3. Technology integration of solar thermal in small size unit to increase added-value (primary, secondary, and tertiary) and also its supporting facilities;
